Letter from the Founders

Picture this: It's 2012. I'm fresh out of school and just finished my college football career: Multiple conference championships, Team MVP, school records. But… that day… I had no idea what to do in that gym. As college athletes, we had it all: The gear. The coaching. The programming. The nutrition. But once I graduated — all gone. My teammate James and I thought: "There has to be a better way."

But here's what we got wrong at first: We thought knowing how to lift meant we knew what to do in the weight room. We thought that doing the same programs we did as athletes would be best. We thought “performance” was the same thing as “health.” We were dead wrong. Former athletes are a special breed. We can do way more than the average person. But doing the exact same thing as current athletes is not ideal in the “real world.” Former athletes don’t need the same programming as current athletes. They need something right in the “sweet spot.” Something that challenges you, makes you more athletic, scratches the competitive itch. And also something that helps you feel better, focus better, feel healthier.

That realization changed everything about how we thought about TeamBuildr. Instead of focusing solely on competitive athletes the rest of our lives, we were going to build something for anyone who is an athlete at heart — whether they were competing or not. But how?

The answer was IDNTY — the TeamBuildr experience re-imagined only for former athletes. With IDNTY, you will get access to the best content, programming and community of former competitive athletes in the world, led by the best coaches in the world and designed for those who can do and achieve more.

Once an athlete, always an athlete. IDNTY — Athletes for Life.

Hope you enjoy it.

Ever wanted to train like JJ Watt? Here’s the story of how Brad Arnett forged JJ Watt's Legendary Physique

In the gritty gyms of Wisconsin, where dreams collide with sweat-soaked determination, Brad Arnett first spotted the raw potential in a lanky high school kid named JJ Watt. What began as late-night sessions at NX Level Sports Performance—pushing boundaries with unconventional drills, mental toughness challenges, and a relentless "Never Be Satisfied" mantra—propelled Watt from an overlooked recruit to a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, future Hall of Famer, and one of the most feared forces in NFL history. Now, for the first time, Coach Arnett pulls back the curtain on the exact training blueprint that turned Watt into a 6'5", 290-pound wrecking ball and creates a program just for you to take your physique to the next level.

Get Your Mind Right: World-Renowned Mindset Coach Todd Durkin Shares the Secrets to Peak Performance After Competitive Sports

From the sweat-drenched fields where he forged legends like Drew Brees into unbreakable champions, Todd Durkin knows the fire that burns in a competitor's soul doesn't flicker out when the final whistle blows—it evolves. Now, as the mastermind behind the groundbreaking "Get Your Mind Right" certification and a global force in peak performance, Durkin is flipping the script for former athletes like you: those who've traded cleats for boardrooms, reps for real-world reps, but still crave that razor-sharp mental edge to crush life's biggest plays. In this no-holds-barred deep dive, the man who's trained Super Bowl winners and inspired millions reveals his battle-tested mindset arsenal—pre-game rituals that silence doubt, reset strategies that turn setbacks into setups, and unbreakable focus hacks that transform everyday hustles into Hall of Fame triumphs—proving that your glory days aren't behind you; they're just getting started.

UFC Legend Bas Rutten Says Changing Your Breathing Can Supercharge Your Life. Don’t Dare Not Listen.

He liver-kicked legends into submission and finished a 22-fight unbeaten streak as Heavyweight Champion—Bas “El Guapo” Rutten discovered the ultimate cheat code: breath. The same kid who once wheezed through asthma attacks turned suffocation into a superpower, inventing the O2Trainer that restricts air on the inhale, forges diaphragm steel, and rockets oxygen uptake by up to 5X. Now, the Hall of Famer who made Joe Rogan gasp on a single rep is handing everyday warriors the exact playbook: 30 daily reps that bulletproof your lungs, melt panic in high-stakes meetings, supercharge workouts without extra miles, and flood every cell with calm, confident fire—proving the fight isn’t won in the gym or the boardroom; it’s won one controlled inhale at a time.
